Frequently asked questions

What is the 16 values test?
The 16 values test is a free political values quiz that measures your views across 16 distinct dimensions, from economic policy to national identity, tradition, science and beyond. Instead of squeezing you onto a single left–right line, it shows where you stand on each axis independently.
How many questions are there?
The full test has 61 questions and takes about 5 to 7 minutes. Each question is a statement, and you answer on a five-point scale from “strongly agree” to “strongly disagree”. We also offer shorter family tests with 8, 9, 12, 18 or 20 axes.
Is the test accurate?
No quiz can capture the full complexity of a person’s worldview, and we do not claim otherwise. Our questions were written from scratch and screened with item analysis; the scoring formula is published in full on the About page. Treat the result as a structured self-reflection, not a verdict.
Is it free?
Yes. The test is completely free, there is no account to create and no email to enter. The site is supported by unobtrusive advertising.
Can I share my results?
Yes. After the test you get a shareable link that only contains your percentages — no name, no email. You can also generate a share image for social media, or compare your results with someone else’s.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes. The whole test, the result charts and the comparison tool are designed mobile-first and work on any phone or tablet.
How is it different from the 12 axes test?
The 12 axes test covers 12 dimensions and is a quicker read of your political profile. The 16 values test adds four extra dimensions — science, technology, individualism and pragmatism — for a fuller picture. See the comparison for details.
